This trip involved 22 people who quickly became friends and worked together as a team. For some, it was the beginning of important life changes – several participants later started families, and one of the guys proposed to his girlfriend during the trip and got the answer “Yes!”.
During this trip, we began construction of the school itself, which will consist of two buildings. It was especially encouraging to see how our young team, with no professional engineers or builders, was able to lay the foundation with their own efforts. This was a good example of how, with teamwork and common goals, meaningful results can be achieved.
